Most oven repair and stove repair problems involve appliances that have stopped running completely, bake improperly, have malfunctioning burners, or burners that work intermittently, and problems with cleaning. Before you try any of the at-home oven repair troubleshooting tips given below, make sure that the power supply to the unit is cut off. If it is a gas stove repair, remember to shut off the gas supply valve or the main gas connection in the house. In case of an oven that has stopped completely, first determine if the appliance is receiving power. Look for a light that turns on. If not, there may be a fuse or circuit breaker that's blown.
